The War of Manifest Metaphor is fought between two tribes of Ehlnofey - formless spirits constantly shifting which storytelling metaphor they manifest. Once the formless spirits have solidified into animals, the Hist takes some of them and modifies their forms (either slowly over thousands of years, or all at once - we don't know) into the Saxhleel. Y'ffer, in response, badly copies her, and produces the Bosmer. So, here's one summary of the origins of the different peoples of Tamriel:Īzurah takes some formless spirits and shapes them into the Khajiit.
It says she made them from the same formless ehlnofey that elves, men, plants and animals were all made from: the Ouze.
The Khajiit creation myth does not state Azura made them from elves.
